SPECIALIST 1-2-1 COACHING

 Our primary goal is to provide a flexible, sustainable and long-term lifestyle changing service for all clients. 

 

We understand that everyone is individual, and that the same training programmes and nutrition programmes do not necessarily work for everyone.  You may be limited to specific training days/times that fit into your lifestyle. You may have specific dietary requirements that need to be adhered to. You may want to train at a specific location that suits your needs/goals. You may have particular injuries that need to be accounted for.  You may have health implications that require specialist training to overcome i.e. pre and post-natal, back problems, disabilities, mental health disorders, cardiovascular and/or respiratory disease, etc.   You may be a complete beginner in all aspects of a healthier lifestyle and need the 1-2-1 support and education.  Alternatively you may be training for a particular sporting event such as: your fist 10k or ironman, or you are a seasoned competitor looking to smash some PBs.  Either way, we can offer you the expertise and support for you to meet your goals. All of our Specialist 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 Coaching packages are outlined further down this page.  

All packages follow our HYBRID COACHING MODEL.  We believe that our Hybrid coaching model is the perfect combination for the modern day busy lives we all tend to lead.  There is no perfect time to start a lifestyle change, life will always seem to get in the way.  Our Hybrid model stops "life" from getting in the way of your goals.  Instead, it allows life to be part of the journey.  Working with a flexible coaching plan, using both bespoke Face-Face and Online coaching which allows for your lifestyle change to be sustainable.

All Specialist 1-2-1 coaching clients will receive:

  • Face-face 1-2-1 (or 2-2-1) sessions at home or in our specialist coaching unit in Dunston, Gateshead. 
  • Set up and access to our online coaching platform (mobile, laptop and desktop). 
  • Personalised training and nutrition plans following our Hybrid coaching model. 
  • Regular progress assessments. 
  • Free access to our private members only Facebook group: The Leaner Lifestyle Hub. 
  • Access to our VIP exercise video library and tutorials. 
  • Support via Email/Whatsapp/Facebook.

FAQS

1. What is online coaching?

Online coaching is a great platform which we use to help keep you in check and progressing, around your everyday, busy lifestyle.  We have a VIP exercise video library which outlines all of the exercises you would need to follow our training plans.  We create your training/session plans based on your goals and whether you will doing bodyweight exercises or equipment based exercises (both of which are catered for), which can then be easily accessed via your mobile, tablet or desktop anywhere in the world.  We create your personalised nutrition goals and then start you on a free nutrition application (which we have access to view and keep you accountable for) followed by weekly nutrition check ins.  Again, all of your nutrition information can be accessed via mobile, tablet or desktop anywhere in the world.  

2. What is our specialist hybrid model? 

Our specialist hybrid model is a mixture of face-face coaching and online coaching. This means that you can be working towards your health and fitness goals no matter what your busy life throws at you (i.e. holidays, travel, work, etc).  This model allows for flexible, sustainable and long-term lifestyle changes.

3. What do you mean by "based on 3 sessions per week using the hybrid coaching model?"

The diamond, platinum and gold packages all have minimum requirements (3, 2 and 1 weekly sessions respectively).  This means that you will receive your coaching sessions in priority order of:

1. All the weekly sessions via face-face coaching; 

2. The weekly sessions via a mixture of face-face coaching and online coaching;

3. All the weekly sessions via online coaching.  

*This is dependant on your personalised training plan needs (work commitments, travel, family events, holidays). 

*You/your training plan may include more than 1-3 sessions per week, which will also be planned for you using our online coaching platform.

4. What happens during holidays for the client (you)?

Using our hybrid model, you wont be left in the dark and having any pauses in your progress.  If you are away, all of this will be discussed at least 14 days prior, with a plan put in place using our online coaching platform.

 

5. What happens during holidays for the coach?

Similarly, if your coach is away, all of this will be discussed at least 14 days prior, with a plan put in place using our online coaching platform.

 

6. What if I miss a face-face session due to illness/other reason?

Don't worry, we will adjust your training plans to suit your goals using the hybrid coaching model. An example of this could be if you are called in to work at the last minute and so unable to attend a planned face-face session, we will provide you with an online exercise session as a replacement.  Please see terms and conditions for all cancellation policies. 

 

7. Where are the sessions?

We are based in Dunston, Gateshead.  Unit 9, Enterprise industrial estate, Dunston, NE11 9EL. 2 minutes drive from the Metrocentre and Costco Gateshead. 2 minutes drive off the A1. See the map at the end of the FAQs.  Alternatively, get in touch about home visits to discuss travel, location and availability.

 

8. Are there toilet facilities at the Dunston unit?

Toilets are available.

 

9. Are there shower facilities at the Dunston unit?

No shower facilities are currently available.

 

10. Is there somewhere I can get changed at the Dunston unit? 

Yes, we have separate men’s and women’s changing rooms.

 

11. Is there parking available?

Limited free parking is available immediately outside, and unlimited free parking is only 300m away.

 

12. How can I pay?

You can pay via the link provided in the package of your choice.  This is through a secure payment site called Stripe.  You will notice on the 24 week and annual packages that options for instalment payments are available.  This is also carried out through Stripe.  Alternatively you can get in touch about paying via cash or via BACs transfer.

 

13. Where can I find the terms and conditions for 1-2-1 Specialist Coaching?
